Certain things in life just seem to go hand-in-hand. Peanut butter and jelly, hot wings and beer, Hall and Oates, and of course, sushi and interpretive dance!
To promote its seafood in sushi recipes, those crazy fish-lovin’ Norwegians from the Godfisk Seafood Council of Norway in cooperation with Oslo-based ad agency Apt produced a series of videos. Titled the Human Sushi Series, the videos use tongue-in-cheek interpretive dance sequences to depict various forms of sushi.
Although highly entertaining (love the choice of music), I’m not so sure watching the video did much to stimulate my appetite for sushi. Well, OK…maybe a little bit. And speaking of interpretive dance, I watched the film Pina the other day. Also very entertaining to watch, in the same WTF-type of vein. Rent it the next time you order sushi and your evening will be complete. You can thank me later. For now, back to the cage.
