The Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals was established in 1873. The Huron SPCA branch promotes humane treatment of animals through various education, investigation, and adoption programs. Their mandate is to raise awareness and charitable funds to help protect, find homes for, and advocate on behalf of animals.
What they needed
The Huron SPCA operates with the support of charitable funding, the majority of which is raised during their annual Animal House Dinner and Auction. They needed to promote this event to raise public awareness and support along with boosting corporate sponsorships.
What we delivered
Donating their creative and marketing services to promote the event, ZOO Media Group designed the event branding look and feel, along with all marketing collateral including posters, flyers, donation forms, wine labels and event brochure. ZOO also arranged for printing services to be donated.
The first Huron County SPCA Animal House Dinner Auction was held in 2005. Combined, the first three auctions have raised over $160,000 and with ZOO’s ongoing involvement, the 2008 event alone raised over $78,000. We expect the 2009 event to be even more successful in raising funds and awareness for this very worthy cause.
